WHAT IS THE ELECTROCOAT ASSOCIATION ?Founded in 1997, The Electrocoat Association is a non-profit trade Association that brings together end-users and suppliers involved in the electrocoating industry to promote the use of e-coat throughout manufacturing industries and advance the technology based on its superior environmental and economic advantages.
The Electrocoat Association is THE primary networking source for the electrocoating community because we represent all of our members equally, specifically based on your business offerings. Corporate Members include custom coating suppliers of applicators, suppliers of equipment, chemicals, paint and, ancillary equipment and finishing applications. Individual Members include captive finishers and manufacturers who utilize this operation to enhance their end-use products or other individuals interested in this finishing process.
The Association is responsible for education programs and events, future-focused and strategic planning, providing knowledge resources for the electrocoating industry and promoting e-coat technology and its use to the finishing and manufacturing industries.
The Association's many learning, knowledge and community-building initiatives provide a framework for fostering positive change and growth in the finishing world. The Association is built on three pillars:

The Electrocoat Association is the pivotal force in positioning electrocoating as a primary coating technology for industrial finishers. The Association leads the industry by serving the diverse needs of all members having a direct interest in marketing the benefits of this technology to manufacturers, consumers and the global marketplace.
