Members are encouraged to contribute expertise to committees that focus on specific issues. Committee projects are the backbone of the Association's technical activities, enabling members to tackle issues of industry-wide concern. These committees serve as a tremendous member benefit by giving each member a strong voice.

Marketing and Communications Committee
This committee promotes the many benefits of the electrocoating process through our web site, news releases, feature articles in major industry publications and direct mail campaigns. Working closely with the other Committees, it serves the Association's goal of marketing electrocoating technology and application to the finishing marketplace and reaches out to target consumer groups and specific OEM markets to explain how electrocoat can benefit the end-user.

Conference Steering Committee
One of the Association's primary functions is to educate the membership. The Conference Steering Committee is responsible for planning the technical program for the biennial Electrocoat Conference. Development of general policies concerning the Conference are also being addressed by this Committee.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee serves to expand the worldwide electrocoat market by promoting the benefits and services the Association offers as well as promoting the use of electrocoating as a finishing application. This Committee directs all membership campaigns.

Educational Committee
This Committee works closely with Marketing and Communications and Conference Steering Committees to provide educational programs, publications and services to the membership and to the general finishing community.
